Asus’ PadFone >
The tablet gurus at Asus recently released the Asus PadFone, a combination of a phone and a tablet. No longer do you have to have two separate gadgets; now you can have just one.
How does it work? The phone can be docked into the back of the tablet, inserting the phone like you would a cassette tape. A flat panel hides the phone discreetly upon docking. The tablet is 10.1 inches and the phone is 4.3 inches. The tablet portion has a built-in battery that extends the life of the Smartphone.
The two can share things like data, webcam and 3G Internet access simultaneously. It’s also equipped with the latest version of Android software.
Say you’re on your phone and something is too small to read. Now all you’ll have to do is dock it into the tablet and pick up right where you left off. This definitely could be the future for Smartphones and tablets. Check it out at Asus’ website.
